Finlay loved dinosaurs and his favourite dinosaur was the Loch Ness Monster. Finlay’s Granny had seen the Loch Ness Monster when she was a girl and now Finlay was going on holiday to his granny’s he was planning a Loch Ness Monster hunt of his own. Finlay see’s all sorts of Nessie shaped things and is beginning to lose hope when they spot a monster-ish shape under the water…There’s no such thing as Nessie: is there?
This is a sweet little book with great playful illustrations of the Scottish landscape and Nessie shaped things. It made for some interesting discussions with my children on whether you can believe in things that you have not seen and of course they now want to go on a Loch Ness Monster hunt!
